How-To Guide

Create a social media graphic

5 min6 stepsDesign Studio

  1. Open the Design Studio

Choose Design Studio from the left navigation.

  2. Pick the platform and size

Select the target format: square for feed posts, portrait for stories and reels, landscape for link previews and banners. Each platform option is pre-sized.

  3. Describe the graphic

Say what the image is about and exactly what text should appear on it. For example: "Promo square for our summer ceramics sale, headline '20% off all mugs', teal background, photo of the mug shelf." Never leave on-image text unspecified.

  4. Generate variants

Request two or three options and pick the strongest. Each image uses one image credit; reviewing variants first saves credits overall.

  5. Adjust or regenerate

If one variant is close, refine it with a one-line instruction — "make the headline bigger", "use the navy background". Do not start over for small changes.

  6. Save it with its post

Save the final to your Content Library. If you generated it for a campaign post, attach it there so the pair stays together.

Tip: Keep a consistent look across posts: same background treatment, same headline placement. Recognition is the point of branding.
