What repurposing is
Repurposing takes any finished asset — usually a blog post or email — and derives new content from it: social captions per platform, an email summary, a graphic concept, or a shortened version for a different audience. The derived drafts keep your brand voice and credit the original.
How to repurpose anything
- Open a saved item in your Content Library and choose Repurpose.
- Pick the target formats and platforms you want.
- Review the derived drafts — each opens in the Writing Studio for edits.
- Publish or schedule each derivative wherever it belongs.
What it costs
Each derived draft uses the same credits as generating it directly — there is no repurposing surcharge. Deriving three social captions and one email from a blog post costs four text credits, exactly as if you had briefed them individually, except the writing is already anchored to the source.
When to repurpose vs. create
- Repurpose your best performers first — proven topics deserve more reach.
- Create fresh when the angle or audience is genuinely new.
- A good rhythm: one strong article per week, repurposed across 3-4 platforms.
